who to follow on twitterOver the past few years, we’ve watched moms take over the blogosphere, shedding light on everything from diaper brands to dessert recipes. Social media has provided these women a unique way to connect, support each other and share their stories with the world.

We’ve covered the power tweeters, including health experts and fitness bloggers, as well as where to go for nutrition news and healthy recipes. This time we’re bringing you the top healthy moms on Twitter, featuring tips, tricks and daily inspiration in 140 characters or less:

@SmokinHotMoms – IIN graduate Nina Manolson helps busy moms put themselves first, so they look and feel their best! She also tweets about quick & tasty meal options for healthy kids.

@runfastermommy – Heather Gannoe is a mom with a knack for exercise, who is “convinced exercise will save the world.” She tweets great fitness and training tips.

@MamaGlow_MGFFMama Glow, founded by IIN graduate Latham Thomas (@GlowMaven), offers a variety of services for women along the childbearing spectrum.

@CatTBowen – Cat Bowen dishes on maintaining a happy, healthy, and fit family, as well as learning to take care of yourself, at her blog Breakfast to Bed. Her tweets are refreshing and relatable for fellow moms!

@cydneysmith – IIN grad Cydney Smith is the founder of Momepreneur Wellness, a practice dedicated to helping busy women raise a family.

@BestMomProducts – If you’re looking for inspiration and ideas from other “mompreneurs,” this is a great resource! Tweets from Best Mom Products include how-to tips, interviews, and more.

@RealFoodMoms – Tweets from Lisa and Tracee, the Real Food Moms, focus on healthy solutions for the whole family, including yoga, nutrition, and stress reduction.

@LiveWellByDsign – Tweets from an IIN grad, Lisa Cummings, whose practice, , Live Well by Design, helps moms get healthy without giving up their favorite comfort foods or social lives.

@BlogHerMoms – Articles and advice from the editor of the BlogHer Mom’s Section, a network of millions of mom blogs, full of great content.

@eilajohnson – Eila Johnson blogs about simple, healthy recipes and family meal ideas at The Full Plate Blog. Be sure to check out her Pinterest board for healthy lunchbox ideas too!

@SnacksOnTheTown – Dawn Lerman is an IIN grad, whole foods chef, and NY Times blogger. She also shares healthy, kid-friendly recipes on her blog, Snacking Outside The Box.

@CarrieSinCA – Tweets from Carrie, a blogger at Family Fitness Food, who explores those topics inside and out. She shares recipes and running tips, and has a great Pinterest page!

@nutrition – IIN grad Holli Thompson became a Health Coach when her son developed chronic issues related to food. Now she has a thriving practice, Nutritional Style, and tweets helpful tips and daily inspiration

@MumsnetBloggers – A collection of bloggers who write on “parenting, politics and all the juice in between” at Mumsnut.com. You’ll find links to great articles by following their tweets!

@fitmomtraining – Stephanie blogs at Fit Mom in Training, where she shares about being a mom  and self-claimed mid-pack runner. She tweets great workouts!
